Animated Short: Warning
For my final year project in University, I decided to adapt Jenny Joseph’s poem, Warning, and turned it into a short animation. In terms of the character design, I have made it to be very personal, having my grandmother as my inspiration. The Art Of Warning is a book that has been curated to compile the journey of this project.
Character: Laura
This character was also from the animated short, Warning.
3D Model: Monkey
This is a 3D character for my project Once Button, Twice Shy. Since it was a group project, my task was to model, skinned and rigged the character. Texturing was not done by me.This was the character used in the project and I was the editor for it.
Software used: Autodesk Maya, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere

3D Model: Ducati Superbike 1098
*There is no audio to this video. I modelled this Ducati Superbike 1098 entirely in Autodesk Maya.
My workflow:
1) I divided the bike into 5 parts
a) Wheels
b) Seat
c) Bike Seat
d) Body Engines
e) Dashboard
I spent quite sometime with the body and the dashboard of this bike as I wanted to achieve the upmost realism possible. Without careful attention to details, it would not be realistic and my sole purpose when modelling this bike was to make it as real as the reference photos I had. As seen above, it is my final product.
Duration of Modelling: 1 week
3D Model: Gollum’s Head Bust
This head bust of Gollum was my attempt at organic modelling when I first began to go into 3D back in 2009. The base was modelled in Autodesk Maya which was then exported to Pixologic Zbrush for texturing and sculpting.
Duration of work : Modelled and Sculpted in 4 weeks.
UV Map, Normal Map, Texture Map

Character: Ishtar
I decided to design Ishtar’s character when I adapted Iranian’s popular folklore, ‘Ishtar’s Journey to the Underworld’. From the descriptions of Ishtar, I came up with these designs and followed through to have her modelled, skinned and rigged in 3D using Autodesk Maya.
